Tom Wilson has long been known to give TJ Oshie some loving slashes on the butt during warmups.
Prior to the Caps’ matchup against Columbus, a maniacal Oshie became the butt slasher himself, enthusiastically whacking every Capital in sight on their badonkadonk.

Oshie delivers butt slashes to each player standing on the blue line.
Goaltender Philipp Grubauer looked a bit startled at the butt slash, jumping a teeny bit in reaction.
Oshie then skates back up the ice again and greets the rest of his teammates with tushy taps along the perimeter zone, some with a considerable amount of gusto and fervor.
If Oshie wants to add this new wrinkle to his pregame routine every game, I could not be more supportive.
This team is so weird.
