Despite suffering one of their worst losses of the season Thursday night, Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin is doubling down on a promise he made on the first day of training camp.
After a difficult offseason that saw many of the team’s veteran players leave, the famed goalscorer said “We’re not going to be suck this year.”
Well, we made that quote into a shirt. And today Ovechkin reached into his wardrobe and put it on.
