Capitals season ticket holders are receiving more information about the team’s Club Red 365 party that will be held at the Capital One Arena on Oct. 16. The party will once again feature autograph and photograph sessions with players, but in a break from last year’s procedure fans will know ahead of time where specific players will be located.
After last year’s party, which was held at the Natural History Museum on the National Mall, fans expressed frustration because they were not told whose autograph line they were in, and players moved around during the event.
The Capitals seem to be addressing that issue with the new policy for two 45-minute autograph/photo sessions. While players will still change locations between the two sessions, their locations will be communicated as fans enter the event, according to the email sent to Club Red 365 members today.
The move to Capital One Arena also means fans will have access to other activities, including an open skate on the Caps’ home ice, Capitals inflatables, photo opportunities, panel discussions with Caps alumni and broadcasters, and “much more.”
