Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin attended an event with his wife Nastya Ovechkina Saturday night.

Caps first-line center Nicklas Backstrom was also there. The two teammates took a very good photo together.

Ovechkin also posed with Nastya for a quick picture.

I reached out to a Capitals representative and Ovechkin’s reprensentation asking about the event Ovechkin and Backstrom attended. Both declined comment.

9/10 Update: Ovechkin and Backstrom attended Zach Leonsis’s wedding in Potomac, Maryland.
