Saturday night, the Nashville Predators continued their tradition of having a country music superstar sing the national anthem.
Martina McBride, a four-time Country Music Association Award (CMA) Female Vocalist of the Year, sung the Star-Spangled Banner ahead of Game Three. It was the Predators first ever Stanley Cup Final game in Nashville.
McBride, who has been nominated for 14 Grammys, received a loud ovation from the crowd.
Hank Williams, Jr. pumped up the crowd afterwards, starting the rally towel wave before puck drop.
Country music superstar Keith Urban, movie star Nicole Kidman, and their two children were in attendance.
Carrie Underwood and Nashville mayor Megan Barry were also unofficial cheerleaders.
