Congrats to Pontus Aberg of the Nashville Predators for scoring his first career playoff goal on Saturday night. Aberg was assisted by Preds star Filip Forsberg, which gave Sportsnet an opportunity to twist the knife in Caps fans just a little deeper.
Ugggggggh.

Ekholm does work along the walls to give Forsberg a chance, but it’s 23-year-old Aberg who gets the rebound.
And here comes the burn:
Filip Forsberg ties Martin Erat for 4th most playoff points in #Preds history with 23#Caps

Gull dern it. Just had to use Erat for the comparison, just haaaad to add the #Caps hashtag.
For the record, Forsberg was traded as a prospect to the Predators in 2013 for Martin Erat and Michael Latta. Erat scored 2 goals and 25 assists in 62 games for Washington.
Forsberg has had ten multi-goal, regular-season games in his still-young NHL career, and his team is probably going to the Stanley Cup Finals. Have a nice night.
