Two days after watching his season end prematurely against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin and his grotesquely bruised thigh attended Game Six of the Washington Wizards’ second-round series against the Boston Celtics. Ovechkin nabbed courtside seats and was joined at the game by his wife Nastya Ovechkina, his older brother Mikhail Ovechkin, and his close friend Gus.
The Wizards, who were down 3-2 and facing elimination, won 92-91 after John Wall nailed a clutch three over Avery Bradley with 3.5 seconds left.

Ovechkin was first spotted at the game by CSN Mid-Atlantic’s Chase Hughes. He came to the game wearing a Wall jersey and a black Air Jordan hat.

The Washington Post’s Dan Steinberg also posted this picture Ovechkin took with a fan.
Ovechkin’s wife Nastya posted several videos on Instagram from their floor seats.
Ovechkin and his family weren’t the only members of the Capitals family at the game.
TJ Oshie’s wife Lauren and Kevin Shattenkirk’s boo Deanna Abbey posted a photo together on Instagram.
Taylor Winnik also posted several videos from the game, revealing Brandi Holtby, Mandy Alzner, Haley Chorney, and Allie Reinke were also at the game.

Nice applause for Nats lefty Gio Gonzalez. Ironically, the Wizards played Max Scherzer's 2016 intro song right after: pic.twitter.com/mV19OUI5H9
