The New Jersey Devils are a plague

Thursday’s game between the Caps and the New Jersey Devils has been a brutal snore. With shot totals barely crawling into double digits, it’s been a typically Devils-y game: play the trap, obstruct, take zero chances, asleep in bed by 9:15.

This team makes hockey boring.

If you add up both team’s shot attempts, you can get an idea of the game pace. The Devils’ pace, since forever, has been glacial.

The league has a lot of problems. Racism, sexism, homophobia, labor relations, concussions, expansion, and also the New Jersey Devils.

Someone DO something.
