With two goals in midtown Manhattan, Marcus Johansson has set a new career-high in goals.
In the second period, Johansson combined with Dmitry Orlov to give the Caps their first goal of the evening. Then in the third period, Johansson put the Caps up 3-1 with a nifty deflection off an Evgeny Kuznetsov pass.

Check out this work between Johansson and Dmitry Orlov.
Orlov enters the zone and his up Johansson. Johansson returns the favor, setting up Orlov for a shot that bounces off Henrik Lundqvist’s pads.
Johansson is ready for the rebound. He sinks it.

1:15 into the third, Johansson would deflect a beautiful backhanded feed by Kuznetsov top shelf.
Johansson scored 20 goals in 2014-15. He hit that same mark this season with 20 games remaining.
