Bruce Boudreau does not want mumps, says he is ‘already lumpy enough’

After the mumps overtook nearly a quarter of the Vancouver Canucks roster, the Minnesota Wild announced on Monday that forwards Jason Pominville and Zach Parise were diagnosed with the virus.

Bruce Boudreau met with the Minnesota media on Tuesday to discuss his teams status while Pominville and Parise are in isolation. The presser turned into a quote factory from Boudreau.

The former Capitals coach really, really does not want to contract the mumps.

Here’s the video.

But if he did, here’s what “Mumpy Boudreau” would look like.

Boudreau was thankful that everyone else on the team was still healthy.

Boudreau was also reminded that everyone thought the 2014 mumps outbreak was begun by the Anaheim Ducks, who he coached at the time.

Will the mumps end soon, or will more teams become affected?
