There are a bunch of Caps fans traveling to Nashville today for this evening’s game against the Predators. Reader Amy R. is representing RMNB with the Caps Road Crew. And onboard a DC to Nashville flight is reader Vic J., who got stuck in an aisle with none other than Caps legend Rod Langway.
Vic has been documenting the flight, and we managed to assemble this article between belly laughs.
Langway played just under 1000 games for the Caps right when the franchise first got good. He won the Norris trophy twice, but now his days are spent being adored by fans and napping on commuter flights.
Vic takes it from here.

he was super cool. He also took a nice long nap. It was like watching a bear hibernate.

Thanks, Vic. And thanks, Rod. Have a great time tonight. Send pics.
