I photographed the Canucks-Sabres game from a hole in the glass (Photos)

On Sunday night, I had the amazing opportunity to work alongside Bill Wippert and his photo crew once again as the Buffalo Sabres took on the Vancouver Canucks. Bill, the Sabres’ Team Photographer, first credentialed me to photograph an NHL game back in 2015. The portfolio built from those two games definitely helped further my career and generate the opportunities I’ve had since then.

This weekend was the first time I got to bring my football photography experience to a hole by the ice. The biggest challenge was readjusting to the speed of hockey again, after being so used to football this season. But once I got the hang of things, it was smooth sailing and so much fun!

As always, I can’t thank Bill and his crew enough for their hospitality! They topped off an amazing weekend in the Queen City.
