Over the last few years, RMNB has cultivated passionate followings on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Well, I have some great news. We’re now on Snapchat. Let’s get weird, you guys.
To add RMNB, simply open Snapchat and point your snap-cam to the snap code in our headline image. A pop-up will appear on your screen, press Add Friend and voila! If you want to add us the old school way, type “rmnb_blog” into the search bar at the top and press ‘+Add’.
If you want to download Snapchat just to follow us, download the app (iPhone & Android) and just follow the above instructions.
In the future, we’ll be posting photos and videos from anything and everything Caps related like special events, practices, goals, and updates during games (fancy stat graphics). We’ll also try to give you a further look behind-the-scenes of RMNB.
This weekend, I’ll take our coverage to the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. A couple months ago, I decided my bucket list would be to attend a game at every NHL arena. I made a list of all the arenas, obviously having already checked off the Verizon Center. I was able to catch a San Jose Sharks game in October, and went to a Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Blackhawks game in January. With the Joe Louis in its last year, it turned into a now or never situation. Luckily, thanks to a great friend in Detroit, I am on my way there this weekend to see the Caps take on the Red Wings one last time this season.
For those who don’t know, I was added to the team last week. I have been a Caps fan since I was born and have a career in graphic design. I also have a bad habit of ooh-ing and aah-ing over every dog that passes by (and Ian’s cat Gigi). Aside from watching a lot of hockey, I photograph concerts in the DC area and co-run an online music magazine. I hope you follow along with my adventures on Saturday. Let your friends know. We’d love to build a big following on Snapchat as well.
