Tuesday morning, the Capitals announced that then will be hosting a new charity event this month, the Wish Upon a Par golf tournament. Wish Upon a Par will be held on Monday, February 20, at Top Golf in Ashburn, Virginia. Tickets are now on sale and include food, two and a half hours of golfing, a silent auction, and the chance to win various prizes. VIP tickets are also available. All proceeds will go to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation Mid-Atlantic.
Capitals players in attendance will include Karl Alzner, Nicklas Backstrom, Andre Burakovsky, John Carlson, Taylor Chorney, Brett Connolly, Philipp Grubauer, Marcus Johansson, Matt Niskanen, Brooks Orpik, TJ Oshie, Nate Schmidt, Justin Williams, Tom Wilson, and Daniel Winnik. Alumnus Rod Langway will also be in attendance.
This event joins the team’s many charitable events, such as Capitals Casino Night, Courage Caps, Better Halves Gift Baskets, and various seasonal jersey auctions.
Select Capitals players and their significant others will host “Wish Upon A Par,” on Monday, Feb. 20, at Top Golf Loudon in Ashburn, Va.
Tickets are currently on sale, with all proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic.

General and VIP ticket packages are available, featuring two and a half hours of play, food, access to a silent auction and the opportunity to win prizes on-site. The VIP package also includes access to a pre-event meet and greet with players.
In addition, fans can bid on the opportunity to play a round of Top Golf with select Capitals players, featuring one Top Golf game with the winner, three guests and two Capitals players. The package also includes unlimited food with beer and wine, access to the silent auction and the opportunity to win prizes on-site.
