Capitals forward TJ Oshie will miss his ninth game of the season tonight, but it’s not due to injury. According to the Capitals’ Mike Vogel, Oshie “went home” and will miss the team’s matchup against the Devils due to a family matter.

According to the Capitals, Oshie traveled home to DC.
The Washington Post’s Isabelle Khurshudyan reports that Jay Beagle — who missed Tuesday’s game due to the flu — will take Oshie’s spot on the first line.
