Tuesday afternoon, former Capitals forward Brooks Laich shared a personal health tip to his followers on Instagram.
“I am a huge advocate of homemade organic juicing as many of you know,” Laich said. “For those of you who have inquired about what I put in my juices, here it is – kale, spinach, ginger, beets, celery, carrots, cucumbers, a lemon, tomato, apple, and a pear. I drink an 18oz juice every morning and @juleshough drinks a 12oz. The long term health benefits are incredible, but also you will have endless energy and positivity during the day! We use a @ceadovenezia juicer, would highly recommend it! Let me know what you put in your juices! ”
Laich would immediately regret asking as Alex Ovechkin would chime in with the following.
“@brookslaich I poot beer and Russian vodka!trust me it’s work❤️❤️,” Ovechkin said.
“@aleksandrovechkinofficial hahah maybe I should try it?” Laich responded.

Considering Ovechkin just tallied his 1,000th NHL point, it might be a routine worth emulating.
