Team Russia and Team Canada faced off this evening in the World Cup of Hockey semifinals. Despite the final 5-3 loss, Team Russia took a 2-1 lead at the end of the second period thanks to Evgeny Kuznetsov.

After a small scrappy battle to get the puck to the net, Kuznetsov deflected a shot out of mid-air past Carey Price.

He looked upset after the loss during his post-game press conference.
Russia is now eliminated from the World Cup while Team Canada will go on to finals and await the winner of the Team Europe/Sweden game, Sunday.
