Just when a reasonable person might start to worry that the hockey season will never start, eternally delayed by the meaningless inspiring World Cup of Hockey, there is a glimmer of hope.
Caps season ticket holders around the D.C. area have started to receive their ticket packages for the 2016-2017 season, and they’re chock full of goodies.
The paper tickets feature four different images, each highlighting two Caps stars: Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Braden Holtby, TJ Oshie and John Carlson, and Matt Niskanen and Justin Williams.
[adinserter name=”nation-ad”]In addition to the tickets, the packages include the season ticket card (which, along with a mobile ticket feature, has replaced the print-at-home option), “Club Red 365” lanyards, lapel pins featuring the Caps logo, and this year’s season ticket holder gift: a jersey patch noting the ticket holder’s tenure.
They’re pretty cool.
