Nate Schmidt was a healthy scratch in the Capitals’ season-ending loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Well here’s something that might bring back his smile. Wednesday night, Schmidt was honored on The Tonight Show during Jimmy Fallon‘s NHL Superlatives bit. Schmidt was voted “most likely to puke rainbows when he opens his mouth.”
Unfortunately, Snapchat has removed the puking rainbows filter (for now), but I didn’t let that stop me. Here are a few more Schmidtuation superlatives for your enjoyment:
Most Likely to Be Called Basic
Most Likely to Take a Picture with Every Celebrity He Sees at Coachella
Most Likely to Be Compared to an Orange
Most Likely to Attend Easter Dinner in an Easter Bunny Costume
This isn’t the first time The Tonight Show has awarded Caps players superlatives. Jimmy Fallon teased Alex Ovechkin in 2015, along with John Erskine and the iconic “Really, Carl?” line.
A few other NHL players got roasted, including Carter Hutton:
