Andre Burakovsky hasn’t had many opportunities to score. A mainstay on the fourth line when he manages to crack the lineup, Burakovsky has hit the back of the net just a handful of times this season. But if you pair him with Evgeny Kuznetsov’s otherworldy passing, good things will happen.
Kuznetsov wandered the offensive zone with the puck, eyeing the tiniest of gap to exploit. Burakovsky barreled towards the Bruins net just as Kuznetsov found him. Kuznetsov sent the puck from the circle, across the mouth of the net, to Burakovsky’s waiting stick on the far side. The Burracuda took care of the rest.
Look at this. Nasty.
N-A-S-T-Y.
That’s Andre’s fourth goal, Evgeny’s 24th assist, and the Caps’ 1-0 lead.
