Famous skiffle musician Paul McCartney is at Madison Square Garden for the Caps/Rangers game tonight. Known for his work with the “rock” band Wings and his duet “Say Say Say” with Michael Jackson, McCartney was spotted in the stands during the first period holding a puck he had snatched from the game.
Paul, whom we will not call “Sir” because we’re not freaking British, was joined by his son James at the game. Ringo was not present.
After Dan Boyle put the Caps in a two-goal hole in the first period, McCartney celebrated by swinging a kerchief with probably a really high thread count.
You might remember McCartney as the author of perhaps the worst Christmas song of all time.
Oh and he was in the Beatles too.
Rangers lead the Caps 3-1.
