Alex Ovechkin departed Russia yesterday and is now back where he belongs: in the United States, playing hockey for the Washington Capitals.
After taking the long flight from Russia with his new fiancée and Dmitry Orlov’s cat, Ovechkin this morning made his first appearance at the team’s informal skates, which have been going on for several days now without him.
