Chewbacca Was at the Caps Game Wearing a Nicklas Backstrom Jersey (Photo)

Today is May the 4th, a.k.a Star Wars Day, so one intrepid Caps fan came to game three wearing a Chewbacca costume UNDER his Nicklas Backstrom jersey. RMNB reader Emily Ward first located Chewy while he was shopping for power converters in the team store. No, I do not know how he didn’t pass out from dehydration.

But here’s my question: how did Chewbacca get to Verizon Center so quick after throwing out the first pitch at Fenway Park at approximately 6:55 PM. It’s 439 miles away. OH I KNOW.

We also managed to get exclusive footage of him celebrating after the game.
