RMNB reader Eric Brooks, AKA the Ovechkin Beard Guy, was at Verizon Center last night. He appeared to have a good time. We saw him twice: first in a selfie during warm-ups with Ovechkin in the background, and then again when his beautifully coiffed crumb catcher made an appearance during CSN’s intermission.
Brooks, an illustrator and assistant brewer for Black Bottle Brewery Colorado, is originally from Rockville, Maryland. On the side he’s a national beard and mustache competitor and the greatest one at that. Read his full story here.
So not only did Craig Laughlin fulfill our dare on-air, but the Ovechkin Beard Guy returned. Christmas really did come early for RMNB.
