After a 269-day goalless streak, Washington Capitals forward Brooks Laich has finally found the net again and, guys, it was dead sexy.
While both teams were down a man playing four-on-four hockey, Eric Fehr found Laich streaking towards the net. Fehr’s pass was actually well behind Laich, but no matter. Julianne Hough’s boyfriend threw his stick behind his body, bumped the puck through his legs to his forehand, and lifted it beyond Ryan Miller’s outstretched glove.

That’s a highlight-reel goal and the 299th of Laich’s career.
Laich celebrated with a primal roar. How great is it to see this guy scoring again?
The goal tied the game at three in the third period, though the Caps would go on to lose 4-3.
