On Saturday night, Washington Capitals defensive prospect Madison Bowey took the ice in a game against Prince George Cougars. It was Bowey’s second game as a captain of his Kelowna Rockets squad, and it was one to remember.
In the second period of the contest, Bowey carried the puck in from the blue line. He worked his way to slot and decided to just pinch it in. That worked out just fine– becoming one of the best goals in his WHL career. That goal gave the Rockets a 2-1 lead and became the game-winner for Kelowna, who won 4-1.
Bowey now has six points in his last four games.
