Radko Gudas loved T-Shirt Guy’s shirt of Radko Gudas

Capitals season-ticket holder Charlie McManus is T-Shirt Guy. Using the Yoshirt app, McManus creates shirts of his favorite players or moments covering the tee from top to bottom and back to front.

Monday, ahead of the Capitals-Blue Jackets game, McManus took up shop along the glass during warmups, rocking a shirt of Radko Gudas’s face. “I stationed myself right behind where he bangs into the glass,” McManus said.

I’m happy to report, Radko saw the shirt.

Braden and Brandi Holtby seek out T-Shirt Guy at Pride Parade after fan creates inception-style photo at Caps mural

Braden and Brandi Holtby made a lot of peoples’ days at the Capital Pride Parade on Saturday. The hockey power couple gave away t-shirts and hugs in northwest DC.

But there was someone in particular that made Braden and Brandi light up with joy. That fan was Charlie McManus, better known as the Capitals’ T-Shirt Guy.

Max Shirtzer: T-Shirt Guy attends Nationals game, goes semi-viral with crazy Max Scherzer shirt

After bringing joy to hockey fans for the last year, T-Shirt Guy Charlie McManus has moved his talents to a new Washington team.

On Tuesday, McManus attended a Washington Nationals game, wearing a creepy-eye’d Max Scherzer-face shirt. The MLB loved the tee so much that they featured him on their Twitter account. You guys, soon T-shirt Guy will be more famous than Alex Ovechkin.

Fan who wears shirt of Zach Werenski’s jacked-up face gets signed jersey from Zach Werenski

The Columbus Blue Jackets have a T-Shirt Guy imitator, but we’ll give him a pass just this once.

Days after the Blue Jackets lost star defenseman Zach Werenski for the season due to a fractured face, a bearded Blue Jackets fan, who works for FunnyShirts.org, debuted the perfect tribute for the 19-year-old during Game Four. The fan had Werenski’s black and blue face, which included a cotton swab shoved up his right nostril, printed on the entire canvas of his t-shirt.

This is fantastic.

T-Shirt Guy gives away his famous shirts to say thank you to Caps fans

It started in January 2016 as a fun joke. It ended up being one of the best times of his life.

Charlie McManus, AKA: T-Shirt Guy, became as visible as Caps superfans like Horn Guy, Goat, and TJ Yoshie over the last year due to his ridiculous t-shirt designs that he would create and wear to games.

Using the app Yoshirt, McManus would blow up the images, usually taken by fellow bloggers, so that the print would encompass every inch of the fabric.

On Sunday, the Caps Jersey Off Their Backs night, McManus asked nine different fans to help him salute the Capitals after another record-breaking year. The supporters all put on McManus’s original shirts — each cost about $40 to print and ship — and stood in front of the glass during warmups. Afterwards, in an incredibly kind gesture, McManus let each helper keep the shirt they wore.

55 photos from RMNBX featuring you, us, and Pierre McGuire

Saturday afternoon, we welcomed literally the nicest people on earth to our Capitals watch party at the Iron Horse. It was an incredible time. We sold some exclusive merch. We gave out a lot of high fives and hugs. And then NBC’s Pierre McGuire showed up and things went next level.

RMNBX trended in Washington DC. CSN Mid-Atlantic’s Craig Laughlin gave us an awesome shoutout on live TV. Pierre, who was wearing a championship ring from his time in Pittsburgh, led a raucous Let’s! Go! Caps! chant. And the crowd cheered wildly as the Caps held on for the 3-2 victory.
