Ryan Reaves signed photos for Las Vegas memorabilia company taunting Tom Wilson’s injury

Vegas Golden Knights forward Ryan Reaves was ejected Tuesday night for a late, blindside hit that injured Tom Wilson. The hit was bad, but somehow, Reaves found a way to make the situation worse.

In a private signing for Inscriptagraphs, Reaves autographed photos of Wilson laying on the ice injured with the caption “He ran into a Lion in the Jungle.”

Wilson is out injured with a concussion.

Ryan Reaves on his hit on Tom Wilson: ‘He was just looking at his pass and ran into a lion in the jungle’

Ryan Reaves had an eventful night in the Vegas Golden Knights’ 5-3 win over the Washington Capitals on Tuesday. The chatty Reaves scored a power-play goal in the first period, threw five hits, and fired three shots on goals. He did this all before getting ejected late in the second period.

Reaves was tossed after hitting Tom Wilson late and from his blindside. The Golden Knights forward was given a five-minute major for interference and a game misconduct. Wilson went to the locker room and did not return with what appears to be a head injury.

After the game, Reaves spoke to the media and thought his hit was legal.

“I thought it was shoulder to shoulder and I didn’t think it was that late,” Reaves said. “He was just looking at his pass and ran into a lion in the jungle.”

Wednesday morning, Bob McKenzie reported Reaves would not be suspended for the hit.

Ryan Reaves will not receive supplementary discipline from the Department of Player Safety for his hit on Tom Wilson

NHL insider Bob McKenzie is reporting that Ryan Reaves will not be suspended or have a hearing with the Department of Player Safety for his hit on Tom Wilson.

Reaves was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct after hitting Wilson late and from the blindside.

Tom Wilson leaves game after late, blindside hit by Ryan Reaves

Ryan Reaves and Tom Wilson both left Tuesday’s game after a bad hit. While Wilson was unaware, Reaves lined up and delivered a blindside hit to the Caps forward. Wilson lost his helmet and hit his head on the ice.

Reaves was ejected. Wilson, presumably, is going through the concussion protocol. According to the Caps PR, Wilson will not return to the game due to an upper-body injury.

TJ Oshie and Lauren Oshie attended Kevin Shattenkirk’s wedding over the weekend. Everyone looked amazing.

Former Capital Kevin Shattenkirk is now officially married to his longtime girlfriend Deanna Abbey after a gorgeous ceremony at the Wölffer Estate Vineyard in the Hamptons.

Of course, there were many New York Rangers in attendance since Shattenkirk is currently a defensman on the squad, but TJ Oshie was also present with his wife Lauren and her sister Ally.

Oshie and Shattenkirk played five seasons in St. Louis together and were reunited on the Capitals squad last year. They also vacation together in spots like Turks and Caicos.

To say everyone looked incredible at the wedding would be a gross understatement.

Ryan Reaves’s Stanley Cup Final goal should not have counted. He should have been called for cross checking.

Vegas Golden Knights forward Ryan Reaves is a bottom-line player, but he now has goals in two straight games. And they’ve been huge.

During Game Five against the Winnipeg Jets, Reaves scored the unlikely game-winning tally to send the Golden Knights to the Stanley Cup Final. Monday night, Reaves scored in the third period against the Capitals to tie Game One 4-4.

Except there’s no way this should have counted as a goal.

Before the Stanley Cup Final kicks off, The Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon graced us all with another round of his popular NHL Superlatives segment.

This time, Fallon covered players from only the two final teams which gave us more superlatives for Capitals players including Alex Ovechkin, Braden Holtby, Jay Beagle, Jakub Vrana, Brett Connolly, and Philipp Grubauer.

Ryan Reaves finally found what he’s good at

Ryan Reaves, a professional fourth liner, plays in the NHL for one purpose and it’s not scoring goals. After wanting to become a more physical team, the Pittsburgh Penguins traded a first round pick to the St. Louis Blues in exchange for Reaves.

Aside from 80 penalty minutes, a few fights, and scaring Phil Kessel, Reaves has done barely anything productive this season (3 points).

However, he has mastered a perfect imitation of a goal horn.

Tom Wilson and Ryan Reaves didn’t fight, but they talked about doing so all night long (GIFs)

Enforcer Ryan Reaves fought Liam O’Brien last night during the Capitals 4-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins, but the call-up’s face was not the one Reaves wanted to be punching.

After knocking down The Big Tuna with three consecutive punches, Reaves taunted Tom Wilson on the bench letting the Caps enforcer know that he, in the almighty words of Goldberg, was next!

Just past the halfway mark in the first period, Penguins goon Ryan Reaves laid a check on Caps forward Liam O’Brien that The Big Tuna didn’t like.
