Former Capitals forward Dmitrij Jaskin is really using his head, figuratively and literally, while playing for KHL Dynamo Moscow.
On Sunday, Jaskin was in the very right place and the very right time to score his first career face goal.

After losing consecutive games out west this weekend, the Capitals flew home from Las Vegas early Sunday morning.
The Capitals will now have the next three days off for the NHL’s mandatory holiday break. Evgeny Kuznetsov and Jakub Vrana showed their excitement by going on Instagram and making funny faces at the camera.
On Sunday, the Caps appeared to have two different parties on their scheduled day off: a team holiday celebration and a belated birthday bash for Nicklas Backstrom. While we don’t know many details, what we do know can be attributed to budding videographer Alex Ovechkin and his wife Nastya Ovechkina.

As the Capitals took the ice at Bridgestone Arena for their morning skate Tuesday, the Capitals’ director of social media gave Alex Ovechkin his phone. This ended up being a very good decision.
Ovechkin conducted an Instagram Live session, where he skated up to almost every player on the active roster and unnerved them with his Oviness. It was quality content.
