Ivan Miroshnichenko scores game-tying goal for Omsk Hawks in MHL playoffs

Washington Capitals top forward prospect Ivan Miroshnichenko is back on the scoresheet in Russia. The 19-year-old offensive powerhouse got his first taste of regular KHL action this season with Avangard Omsk, scoring his first three goals in the league but has returned to the organization’s junior affiliate for their playoff run.

Miroshnichenko has gotten into five postseason games for the Omsk Hawks and put away his first goal in their Thursday matchup with Tolpar. He has four points (1g, 3a) in those five games.

Ivan Miroshnichenko scores third career KHL goal on his 19th birthday

Ivan Miroshnichenko turned 19 years old on Saturday and gifted himself a very nice birthday present.

The Capitals’ top forward prospect potted his third career KHL goal for Avangard Omsk. And, it was an absolute laser beam snipe.

Top Washington Capitals forward prospect Ivan Miroshnichenko is back on a KHL scoresheet.

The 18-year-old winger tallied his first career goal in Russia’s top professional league a day after Christmas and now has his first-ever assist. And, it’s an absolutely gorgeous one.

Washington Capitals prospect Ivan Miroshnichenko is a goal scorer for the first time in the KHL.

The 18-year-old winger broke free for Avangard Omsk in his seventh KHL game and fired home the team’s second goal of the game and his first ever in Russia’s most senior professional league.

Ivan Miroshnichenko makes KHL debut with Avangard Omsk, skates solo rookie lap before game

Ivan Miroshnichenko got the rookie treatment before his KHL debut against Traktor Chelyabinsk, Sunday.

Miroshnichenko skated a few solo laps before the rest of his Avangard Omsk teammates, who paused in the tunnel to the locker room, joined him out on the ice.

Washington Capitals’ top 2022 draft selection Ivan Miroshnichenko is set for his KHL debut on Sunday with Avangard Omsk. The 18-year-old sniper has incredibly recorded 14 points (8g, 6a) over ten games across two different levels of Russian hockey this season after returning from Hodgkin’s lymphoma treatment.

The Russian winger got on the ice for practice Saturday with Avangard Omsk for the first time in preparation for the big debut.

Ivan Miroshnichenko will make his KHL debut in Avangard Omsk’s next game

Washington Capitals top forward prospect Ivan Miroshnichenko has had quite an impressive season after making his return from Hodgkin’s lymphoma treatment in early November. The 18-year-old sniper has recorded 14 points (8g, 6a) over ten games across two different levels of Russian hockey.

Now, Miroshnichenko is set to play in his first-ever KHL game with Avangard Omsk on Sunday. The news was announced by Avangard head coach Mikhail Kravets.

Ivan Miroshnichenko keeps up goal per game pace in MHL with blistering rush slap shot

While it’s not February, it’s seemingly Groundhog Day over in Russia. Washington Capitals top prospect Ivan Miroshnichenko scored yet another goal in the MHL on Saturday morning.

The 18-year-old sniper now has eight goals in eight games this season for the Omsk Hawks and has scored in seven straight contests.

Ivan Miroshnichenko scores seventh goal in seven MHL games with rocket one-timer from Ovi spot

Washington Capitals super prospect Ivan Miroshnichenko was back on the ice in an MHL sweater with the Omsk Hawks on Thanksgiving morning. The 18-year-old offensive dynamo made a very successful, quick foray into the senior VHL league to start the week but has returned to the junior league to get even more ice time.

He picked up right where he left off, tallying three points to give him 11 total (7g, 4a) in just seven MHL games.

Ivan Miroshnichenko promoted to VHL, records two primary assists in Omsk Wings debut

Washington Capitals 2022 first-round draft selection Ivan Miroshnichenko was back on the ice Monday morning but on a different team than he has played for so far this season.

The 18-year-old winger jumped up a level in Russian hockey from the junior MHL league to the VHL which is the KHL’s affiliate league and features almost exclusively senior players. He donned the sweater of the Omsk Wings, Avangard Omsk’s farm club, and immediately tallied two primary assists in his season debut.
