Drake name drops Alex Ovechkin in his verse on Future’s ‘I’m On One’ track

Rapper and modern trap music superstar Future dropped his new album ‘I NEVER LIKED YOU’ on Friday and featured on the 15th track titled “I’m On One” is hip-hop legend, Drake.

Amid other sports mentions in Drake’s verse on the track is a shoutout to Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin. This isn’t the first time Drake and Ovi have collided as the two met one another back in 2011 after a Lil’ Wayne show.

Devante Smith-Pelly one of many notable athletes and celebrities to attend Game 5 of NBA Finals in Toronto

Up 3-1 over the Golden State Warriors, the Toronto Raptors were in position to wrap up their first ever NBA championship on Monday night. And the stars were out north of the border to show support to the team, including one player who knows a thing or two about clutch scoring in a decisive championship game.

Capitals forward Devante Smith-Pelly, who is an unrestricted free agent come July, attended the game and sat in the lower bowl behind one of the baskets. Smith-Pelly, a Scarborough, Ontario native, has attended several Raptors playoffs games since the Caps season ended, including some with his mother and family.

Drake wears Humboldt Broncos jersey to Wizards’ playoff game against Raptors

Canadian rapper and songwriter Drake attended Game One between the Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Saturday night.

Sitting courtside, Drake wore a Humboldt Broncos jersey in honor of the 16 players and coaches who died last week as they bussed to a game.

PK Subban attends Leafs game on first day of his bye week

We Don’t Understand Basketball; Why is Drake Using a Lint Roller?

Peter and I don’t watch the NBA, but on Wednesday we supported the Washington Wizards in their victory over Chicago. Hashtag dcRising. Watching basketball has been… an adjustment. I used to play at Frederick High, but the NBA rules don’t resemble the sport I was taught. Peter is just clueless.
