Friday afternoon, Nastya Ovechkina took to her Instagram Story to document the family’s latest shipment of Coke products.
It’s a lot.
With two minutes and twenty-eight seconds remaining in the first period, Alex Ovechkin absorbed a painful leg-on-leg hit from Nazem Kadri. It took Ovechkin nearly two minutes to get up and when the Russian superstar did, he needed help from two teammates to get back to the bench. Many fans wondered if the injury was season ending or career threatening. What on earth was going on behind closed doors?
According to Alex Ovechkin, he was drinking a soda.
