Alex Ovechkin had a special guest join him for some house hockey on Saturday night.

Washington Capitals defenseman Rasmus Sandin came over, and the two teammates played a mini game in the hallway of Ovechkin’s mansion. Ovechkin’s two sons played as well – Sergei as a forward and Ilya as a goaltender.

The video was posted by Ovechkin’s wife Nastya Ovechkina.

The rambunctious matchup had some clear intensity to it, which may or may not have scuffed the walls. In the middle of the clip, the ball could be seen ricocheting overhead, where Sandin tried to catch the puck with the blade of his stick. This was Ovechkin’s facial reaction.

Sure, Ovi may be days away from 40, but he’s still a kid at heart.
