Hershey Bears tease new jersey design

The Hershey Bears could have a new look for the 2024-25 season.

Friday, the back-to-back champions took to social media to release a teaser image that included a detailed shot of a jersey along with the date Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

While a team spokesperson wouldn’t spoil the surprise (I tried), the image suggests the club is preparing to unveil a new jersey design next week.

The Bears’ current home sweaters have the same chocolate and cream colors as the jersey pictured in the teaser, suggesting updates to that design could be coming. The Bears have worn that same chocolate jersey for the past 11 seasons.

The Capitals’ AHL affiliate could also be debuting a new alternate or warmup jersey. The team rocked a 12-time Calder Cup champions warmup jersey during their season-opening weekend last year which included their banner-raising night.

Whatever the Bears are up to, we’ll stay glued to social media for more updates.
