Capitals play ‘Calma’ after overtime win in nod to World Series champion Nationals

The Washington Capitals pulled out a thrilling 5-4 victory over the Florida Panthers, Thursday night.

Still feeling the love a little over a week after the Washington Nationals won the World Series, the Capitals blasted a very special song after the game in honor of their favorite baseball team.

The Capitals and Nationals have developed an epic friendship over the years. The Nats even attended the Capitals game on Sunday to celebrate their World Series title and things got a little wild. Nationals players got shirtless on a Zamboni and poured beer into Caps fans’ mouths below them from their suite. But it was the postgame locker room celebration which featured singing and dancing that was one of the most epic moments in DC Sports history.

The Capitals also played This Is How We Do It, an ode to Howie Kendrick, after an October victory against the Chicago Blackhawks.
