With the anniversary of the first Stanley Cup win in Capitals franchise history coming up on June 7th, NBC Sports Washington has announced that they will be airing the fateful Game Five on Friday so Caps fans can re-live the moment all over again.
Tune your televisions and set your DVRs, we are going on a wild ride.
The game will be preceded by All Ours: Bring Home the Cup, a documentary that recaps the historic run from start to finish, with footage of each players’ day with the Cup interspersed throughout. The documentary will begin airing at 6 pm with the game starting at 7:30 pm. After the game is finished at 10 pm, the Postgame Live will be replayed as well.
