Alex Ovechkin will take the Stanley Cup to Ft. Dupont Ice Arena, Georgetown University Hospital, and the Arlington PD Friday

The Stanley Cup’s tour throughout the DC area will continue on Friday afternoon. Captain Alex Ovechkin, along with Caps owner Ted Leonsis, will be taking the Cup to several locations on Friday, June 15.

First, they will be stopping in Arlington to visit police personnel at the Arlington County Fire Department.  Afterwards, they will stop at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where Ovi, Leonsis, and the Cup will meet with patients in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Department. The final stop of the day will be at Ft. Dupont Ice Arena, where they will meet with players from the Ft. Dupont Cannons.

Stanley has already been all over place this week, from accompanying Ovi and Holtby on The Tonight Show and the Caps’ championship parade, to taking photos with season ticket holders at Kettler all week and hanging out with the coaching staff. With Friday’s upcoming events, the Stanley Cup can continue to spread the joy throughout DC.
