The Capitals scored four first period goals to lead them to a 7-3 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night. Evgeny Kuznetsov and Jason Chimera both had three point nights, while four of the Caps’ goals were scored by defensemen. The pick of the goals being Dmitry Orlov’s first goal since March 2014.
