CSN Mid-Atlantic always shows a live shot of the Verizon Center concourse during intermissions. Usually we’ll give a live look at hurried fans trying to make it back to their seats or a bunch diehards waving and making silly faces. Tonight, CSN captured Alex Ovechkin, who was given the night off, walking amongst the fans. Of course he was high-fiving them.
What a man of the people.
During Wizards games, Ovechkin has been known to wait in line and get his own ice cream with fans.
You would think Ovechkin would not do this as he’s one of the most famous athletes in the world. But that’s our captain just doing his own thing.
