On Wednesday night, Eric Fehr played his first game in a month — and his first in a Toronto Maple Leafs uniform. He did okay — getting outshot 12 to 9, winning all four faceoffs he took, and eating up about ten minutes of ice — but today doesn’t look good for Winkler, Manitoba native and former Brandon Wheat King.
Toronto Sun writer Lance Hornby reports that Fehr may have suffered a broken hand. He could be done for the season.
[Fehr] was seen at the airport in Columbus Thursday morning with his hand in a cast and arm in a sling.
Fehr confirmed an injury of some kind, but did not say more.
Fehr confirms he was overnight in hospital. Leaving it to team to make announcement on his fate, but looks like he's done for reg. season.

Halfway through the third period, Fehr blocked a shot by Brandon Saad. That was Fehr’s only block of the night, but he was feisty throughout the game.

There has been no formal announcement beyond an undisclosed injury.
The Penguins put Fehr on waivers at the end of February. The Leafs acquired Fehr at the trade deadline.
