The Skate Frederick Adult Hockey League had a busy schedule planned for tonight, but then the Caps forced a Game Seven against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Now everything is canceled.
The SFAHL has cleared the slate for Wednesday night. The news was passed on to players on one team like this:
SF cancelled all the games for Wednesday. We’ll be going back to [a local Frederick bar] to watch the game. See you asshats there.
(I love beer-league hockey.)
Should the Caps exist, there will be no further postponements. Game Seven is the sole exception, so the Caps better make it count, dang it.
I would cancel my own funeral for this game.
