Devante Smith-Pelly was all of us when Lars Eller scored in double overtime

The Washington Capitals third line consisting of Lars Eller, Devante Smith-Pelly, and Brett Connolly was dominant during Game Three. According to Natural Stat Trick, the third line led the team in shot attempt percentage (65.7%) and scoring chance percentage (72.5%).

Lady luck rewarded the trio in double overtime.

And there was no one happier than DSP.

Smith-Pelly leaped high into the air twice as he saw the puck cross over the goal line.

Many Caps fans could relate to DSP’s raucous celebration. That’s because they did a similar celebration themselves at home.
