Sunday’s matchup between Canada and the United States will be the sixth all-time meeting between the two nations in the Winter Olympics with NHL involvement. They’ve previously battled in the 2014 semifinals, 2010 gold medal game, 2010 round robin, 2002 gold medal game, and 1998 round robin. Team Canada will be going for its fourth gold medal (2014, 2010, and 2002) in the Olympics when featuring NHL players, while America will be going for its third (2010 & 2002). The two teams punched their ticket to the championship game on the one-year anniversary of the 4 Nations Face-Off Final between Team Canada and Team USA, which Canada won.

“There will be not one TV without this game on in the United States in Canada, and that should you pretty fired up,” USA forward Matthew Tkachuk said Friday per the NHL.

Meanwhile, Finland and Slovakia will have a bronze medal rematch from the 2010 Olympics. The Finns won that game 5-3. Slovakia beat Finland 4-1 during their Group Stage game.
