The United States women’s hockey team just won Olympic gold for the third time in its history, defeating Canada 2-1 in the tournament final. USA forward Megan Keller scored the golden goal in overtime, dekeing to the inside past Canadian defenseman Claire Thompson and backhanding a shot that squeaked through goaltender Ann-Renée Desbiens.
