The Washington Capitals finally got the first win of their season-long six-game road trip (1-2-0), defeating the Calgary Flames 3-1 on Friday. Now, they’re in Edmonton for a scheduled loss against the Oilers.
The Oilers come into the game losers of two straight in regulation, but are 5-3-2 over their last 10. After a tough start to the season, the Oilers have surged into second place in the Pacific Division. Connor McDavid continues to be Connor McDavid. He’s second in points (85) and goals (30).
The Capitals will come into puck drop with the same lines from last night. Charlie Lindgren will get the start and oppose Connor Ingram on the other end.

After a great chip up the boards by Lapierre, Sourdif skates down and rips a shot from the left circle short side. Ingram was expecting Sourdif to pass. Great shot.
