Dylan Strome is receiving his first bobblehead night as a member of the Washington Capitals on Tuesday, January 13, as the team takes on the Montreal Canadiens. All fans in attendance at Capital One Arena will receive the Stromer bobble, which features the first-line centerman in the team’s new third jersey — the red, white, and blue Screaming Eagle sweater.

Strome recently got an opportunity to meet his porcelain clone inside the locker room at MedStar Capitals Iceplex, and he was clearly impressed. However, some of his teammates were less so.

“The stick stays like that?” Strome asked as he held the bobblehead in his hands. “That’s pretty sick.”

Did it fully capture his likeness?

“Yeah, I think it’s really well done,” Strome said. “I think, it’s, yeah, very good. Accurate flow.”

Once Tom Wilson arrived on the scene, however, the chirps began flying.

“Good lord,” Wilson said. “That’s nice. Look at the lettuce on it.”

“We’re having a Zini bobblehead night?” Jakob Chychrun asked as he entered the room. “No way. Let me see this.”

Chychrun then got a closer look.

“He’s a lot better looking than you, though,” the defenseman deadpanned.

“Ohhhhhhhhhhh, wow,” Wilson reacted to the scorching hot burn.

Later, Wilson had a chirp of his own.

“Hey, it looks like you got like a nose job,” Wilson observed. “That guy’s got some botox.”

“When I get some plastic surgery, I’m going to give him this guy,” Strome said, playing along. “I’m gonna give it to the surgeon.”

“A lot of respect for the hair on that thing, though,” Connor McMichael said, walking by.

“Good hair, a little Botox,” Wilson replied. “All good.”

In the clip, Strome said that his whole family is attending the game, including his aunts and uncles.
