Tonight, your Washington Capitals will take on the San Jose Sharks and see some familiar faces on the backend. Vincent Iorio will play his first game against the Caps since getting claimed by the Sharks earlier this year, as well as 2018 Stanley Cup champion, Dmitry Orlov.
The Sharks have a bunch of young talent. Keep an eye on forwards Will Smith and Macklin Celebrini, who are having huge years.
Justin Sourdif and John Carlson are both missing tonight’s game due to injury. In goal, the Capitals will turn to Charlie Lindgren in net and he’ll face Yaroslav Askarov on San Jose’s end.
Puck drop for today’s game is scheduled for a little after 10:00 pm. Joe Beninati and Craig Laughlin have the call on Monumental Sports Network. Caps have won 8 of their last 9 overall coming into tonight.
