The Hershey Bears can clinch back-to-back appearances in the Calder Cup Final with a win in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Monsters on Thursday night. The Bears are up 3-0 in the series after a 6-2 beatdown inside Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Tuesday.
Hershey got goals from six different skaters and a three-point night from Ivan Miroshnichenko in their Game 3 victory. Hunter Shepard made 27 saves in his ninth win of the postseason.
Aaron Ness, Pierrick Dubé, and Henrik Rybinski all miss out due to injuries picked up in Game 3. Hardy Häman Aktell returns from his injury and Matthew Phillips and Matt Strome are filling in up front.
Defensemen Lucas Johansen and Jon McDonald are also scratched due to their respective injuries. Highly touted Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Denton Mateychuk is making his pro debut at the other end.

Hershey is 3-0 on the road against Cleveland this season, outscoring the Monsters 17-5. The Bears have still only lost one game in this year’s playoffs.
