The Washington Capitals are officially in the third day of a nine-day break that includes a bye week and NHL All-Star weekend.
The team’s players are getting some much needed rest and relaxation ahead of the second half of the season. That too includes Alex Ovechkin who flew out to be with his family in Dubai.
Ovi’s vacation began with beach time and a chance meeting with soccer legend Wayne Rooney.
Tuesday, Ovechkin upped the exoticness and rode a camel with wife Nastya and his two children.
Nastya can be seen with Sergei while Ovi is seated with Ilya on camel number two.
The camel riding was a part of a day-long birthday celebration for Kirill Shubsky, Nastya’s father.
Later in the night, family and friends held a party on the beach which included music, dancing, and sparklers. Alex Ovechin’s mother, Tatyana, could be seen in the background of Nastya’s videos.
Keeping with the theme of the day, Kirill was presented with a birthday cake that included a camel topper.
