The Hershey Bears are just four wins away from a championship. In further great news, you’ll be able to follow along on TV as they look to take down the Coachella Valley Firebirds and secure their AHL-record 12th Calder Cup.
Beginning Thursday night, NBC Sports Washington will air all of Hershey’s Calder Cup Finals games against the Firebirds.
The Bears will start on the road in California for two games before returning to Giant Center for Game Three. Game One begins at 10 pm ET Thursday.

The telecasts will feature Zack Fisch on play-by-play, where he will team up with FOX43’s Andrew Kalista and Todd Sadowski on the call.
Hershey playoff games can also be heard on Caps Radio 24/7 while AHL TV provides streams of games online.
With the Capitals looking to introduce more youth into their lineup in the near future, this is an incredibly awesome opportunity to watch some of those players fight for a championship. Aliaksei Protas, Connor McMichael, Hendrix Lapierre, Vincent Iorio, Beck Malenstyn, etc. have all played big roles for the Bears this postseason.

NBCSW to Broadcast Hershey Calder Cup Finals Playoff Games
Coverage begins with Game 1 on Thursday, June 8 at 10 p.m. ET
ARLINGTON, Va. – NBC Sports Washington today announced it will present live broadcast coverage of the Washington Capitals AHL affiliate Hershey Bears playoff games during the Calder Cup Finals versus the Coachella Valley Firebirds, beginning with Game 1 on Thursday, June 8 at 10 p.m. ET. Games 1, 2, 4, 5*, 6*, and 7* (*if necessary) will air on NBC Sports Washington. Game 3 will air on NBC Sports Washington +. Hershey Bears coverage will also be available on nbcsportswashington.com.
NBC Sports Washington partnered with FOX43 and the Bears to provide live simulcast coverage of the club’s best-of-seven series versus Coachella Valley.
The Bears are making their sixth trip to the Calder Cup Finals since becoming the top development affiliate of the Washington Capitals in 2005-06, with Hershey winning the Calder Cup in 2006, 2009 and 2010. It marks Hershey’s 24th trip to the Calder Cup Finals in franchise history, which is an AHL record. The Bears finished second in the Atlantic Division and fourth overall in the AHL during the regular season (44-19-5-4, 97 points), then defeated the Charlotte Checkers (3-1) in the division semifinals and the Hartford Wolf Pack (3-0) in the division finals before eliminating the Rochester Americans (4-2) in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Nine Bears appeared in games with the Capitals this season, including Washington draft picks Connor McMichael, Aliaksei Protas, Vincent Iorio, Lucas Johansen and Beck Malenstyn, as well as Herndon, Virginia native Joe Snively.
